11gR1 (11.1.1.x to 11.1.1.6) Forms Upgrade Prerequisites for IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

NOTE: Unless you are using Oracle Portal or Discoverer 11g, it is recommended to upgrade to Oracle Forms and Reports 11gR2 (11.1.2.1).<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

1.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Minimum System Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

1.1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Supported Operating Systems:<\/p>\n

1.1.1. Version 6.1 TL6+<\/p>\n

1.1.2. Version 7.1 TL0+<\/p>\n

1.2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>*RAM: 8GB+<\/p>\n

1.3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>HDD Partitioning:<\/p>\n

*Software Mount: One file system mount with at least 50GB of free space to store the software and temporary file storage for servers.<\/p>\n

*SWAP: 8GB+<\/p>\n

1.4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>OS User Access Requirements:<\/p>\n

1.4.1. OS User will need to own the software mount.<\/p>\n

1.4.2. Root user access must be accessible for the installation.<\/p>\n

*RAM and File System Mount Specifications: For production systems, please consult PITSS or Oracle on sizing recommendations. The amount of RAM, HDD Space for SWAP and Software Mounts will vary depending on end-user usage and application characteristics.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201chard nofile\u201d should be atleast 4096 (65535 is recommended)<\/p>\n

The following steps will help guide you through Oracle\u2019s Support website to find the Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6 Patch set. This is the only Oracle Website location where the WebLogic Server 10.3.6 Patch set can be downloaded.<\/p>\n

4.2.1. Go to support.oracle.com<\/p>\n

4.2.2. Login with your Oracle OTN Login that has your organization\u2019s \u201coracle support identifier\u201d that lets you download \u201cPatches & Updates\u201d<\/p>\n

4.2.3. Click on \u201cPatches & Updates<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n
