NOTE: Unless you are using Oracle Portal or Discoverer 11g, it is recommended to upgrade to Oracle Forms and Reports 11gR2 (11.1.2.1).<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

1.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Minimum System Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

1.1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Oracle Supported Forms Builder Platforms (Development Client):<\/p>\n

1.1.1. Windows XP 32-bit SP3+<\/p>\n

1.1.2. Windows Server 2003 32-bit R2+<\/p>\n

1.1.3. Windows Server 2008 32-bit<\/p>\n

1.1.4. Windows 7 64-bit<\/p>\n

*Software Mount: One file system mount with at least 50GB of free space to store the software and temporary file storage for servers.<\/p>\n

1.6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The operating system user that is used for the installation must have Administrative privileges on the machine and \u201cFull Access\u201d to the file system directory where 11g WebLogic and Forms will be installed.<\/p>\n

*RAM and File System Mount Specifications: For production systems, please consult PITSS or Oracle on sizing recommendations. The amount of RAM, HDD Space for SWAP and Software Mounts will vary depending on end-user usage and application characteristics.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Software Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

2.1.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Java JDK 1.7.0_15 (or latest version of Java JDK 7)<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.1.1. Go to http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/java\/javase\/downloads\/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

2.1.2. Click on \u201cjdk-7u15-windows-i586.exe\u201d for 32-bit and \u201cjdk-7u15-windows-x64.exe\u201d for 64-bit.<\/p>\n

NOTE: This is the page to download the latest JDK version.<\/p>\n

NOTE: Java JDK\u00a0 1.7.0_7 is the minimum required for Forms 11.1.2.1 if using Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6, but we recommend the latest version of JDK (1.7.0_15+) as it is more current and contains critical security updates.<\/p>\n

2.2.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>WebLogic 10.3.6 Upgrade Patchset<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following steps will help guide you through Oracle\u2019s Support website to find the Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6 Patch set. This is the only Oracle Website location where the WebLogic Server 10.3.6 Patch set can be downloaded.<\/p>\n

2.2.1. Go to support.oracle.com<\/p>\n

2.2.2. Login with your Oracle OTN Login that has your organization\u2019s \u201coracle support identifier\u201d that lets you download \u201cPatches & Updates\u201d<\/p>\n

2.2.3. Click on \u201cPatches & Updates<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n

2.2.4. In the Patch Search window, type in 13529623<\/b> for the patch number. Select the operating system and click Search.<\/p>\n
