My colleague Alex Bertman after some trial and error he figured out how to install and configure Reports in 12c.<\/p>\n

If we try to call the environments of the in-process \u00a0Reports Server 12c after after a new install and configuration then we have to use the Oracle Support article (Doc ID 2069065.1).<\/p>\n

The first step after running the Configuration Wizard in a new environment with Oracle Reports 12c<\/a> is to run the WLST command\u00a0createReportsToolsInstance()<\/em>. This command will create all the components at file system level needed for Oracle Reports.<\/p>\n

Example<\/p>\n

1- Execute wlst.cmd\/wlst.sh from ORACLE_HOME\/oracle_common\/common\/bin
\n2- Connect to AdminServer.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0connect(\u201cweblogic\u201d,\u201dweblogic_password\u201d,\u201dhostname:7001\u2033)
\n<\/em>3- Run the following wlst command.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/em>createReportsToolsInstance(instanceName=\u2019reptools1\u2032,machine=\u2019AdminServerMachine\u2019)
\n<\/em>4- At this moment reports servers can be used.
\n5- After step 4 cannot check the environments because of the security policies. In this case we have to set a security as
